I ran away from home
Thinking I wanted something fun
How I wanted to explore——
Maybe get to know more souls
Or break more hearts
And not be tied down to you

But it wasn’t exactly
The way I thought it would be
It was fun but fun wasn’t for me
Fun wasn’t permanent
And I wasn’t looking for temporary
I was looking for you———I wanted you.

I headed back hoping to see your face
But when I arrived
It was different——you were different;
You’ve changed not because I left
But because you have become
Someone else’s home.

You’ve left me homeless.
